The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology on Thursday inaugurated the second Belt and Road International Training Workshop on Space Science and Utilization, marking the program's debut in Hong Kong. The two-week event will run through Aug 5. Jointly organized by the Technology and Engineering Center for Space Utilization of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, HKUST, and the Hong Kong Institute of Science and Innovation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, the workshop has attracted over 20 participants from space agencies, international organizations, academia and industry, along with the nations and regions participating the Belt and Road Initiative.
